Our customer is a global leader in the energy industry, providing fully integrated projects, products, and services for traditional and renewable energies to customers worldwide. Their offices in 41+ countries employ 20,000+ people, all of whom are diligently involved in working towards reshaping two business segments – Subsea and Surface Technologies.
Our customer wanted to develop a diagnostic tool that would reduce the huge cost involved with regular downtime and monitoring of turbine meters at oil and gas exploration sites. This tool would have to focus on comprehensive condition monitoring of traditional and legacy flow meters and turbine meters. The system would also have to send real-time diagnostic feedback to the customer to enable predictive and preventive maintenance for cost efficiency and decreased downtimes. The customer partnered with Softdel, leveraging our extensive IoT expertise for an edge analytics application that would make their maintenance schedules smarter and help them avoid costly mistakes.
